Actually Mum

A fun collection of t-shirts that your teen might actually love! Seriously, it's so hard to figure out their taste now, and the best word I can think of to describe the aesthetic they like is…. random. We will never understand what our teens like, but you might hit the jackpot with something from this list. All the shirts on this list are from Redbubble, they have high-quality products and they ship worldwide. Pick up a few things here for Christmas or Birthday gifts for your beloved moody young adult. …or maybe just give them cash for shopping at the mall. That's probably more of a sure thing. sigh.

OMG some of these baby shower invitations are so adorable!! Most of these are from the website Zazzle; an awesome platform to find fully customizable invitations (and other paper products) that you can personalize and order a set or download to print yourself. I've found some amazing trendy themes and heartwarming and nostalgic timeless themes. And bonus points because they are all created by independent artists... you know, real people from around the world. Let these invitations inspire the entire theme of your party! Let me get your creative juices flowing, and if you find an awesome invitation that you like here, there will often be additional party supplies and decorations available to you as part of the same collection. I've found some of the coolest and trendiest phone cases out there, and you can customize ALL of them yourself! They are on Zazzle, so you can get any of these for any Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models. You personalize them yourself too. No waiting for designers to return emails. And you can preview your new phone case before you buy it, seriously it only takes a minute. Anyways, I've curated a collection of designs in many different styles and aesthetics. We have cozy, cute, elegant, vintage inspired, graffiti Y2K, preppy… you name it, I've got it! My favorites are probably all the faux-crochet ones. But I'm a sucker for something feels like grandma made it :) I hope you have fun looking through this list. There is a special little something at the end that may make you smile :)

Funky and trendy, weird and quirky… this is a list of fun things I've seen on Amazon lately. Little trinkets that don't cost very much you can give loved ones and friends as gifts for any occasion. These items are each for a a specific person with a unique personality. For example, give the Costco receipt scarf to someone who is obsessed with Costco. Or give the Xanax candle to someone who is always freaking out over something. For each of these suggestions, I bet you will think ‘I know exactly who would love this!!’ Even if it is yourself :) I'm always adding to the list, so check back later! Orange is a totally underrated color when it comes to fashion and accessories. I think that it is so unexpectedly unique that when someone walks into a room decked out in orange, they will absolutely be the center of attention! Brightly saturated orange can feel fresh and summery. Red-orange can feel passionate and bold. Terra Cotta orange can feel earthy, warm and cozy. Orange geometrics paired with teal, brown or yellow has a retro vibe. Orange is so versatile and fun, but I find it difficult to find much of it in the stores. I've compiled a list of some of my favorite orange fashion and accessories. If you have a fashion-forward woman in your life who loves to live on the edge of the trends, you will definitely find a gift for her on this list. It looks like she is lounging seaside sipping Aperol Spritz in Italy on vacation. But it's Sunday brunch downtown San Antonio!? The European summer aesthetic is all the rage for 2026, and it is characterized by minimalist ‘soft tailoring,' with easy breezy natural fabrics and materials. Resort wear fashion in soft neutrals with pops of color here and there. Think… lemons, Vespas, silk scarfs, coastal motifs, flowing fabrics and digging your toes into the sand. I love this fashion vibe because it leans into a slower pace of life; romantic and thoughtful… playful but serene, while appreciating all the little things your day has to offer. I imagine women who can really pull this off are probably smiling all the time! Here is a fun list of fashion must-haves including women's outfits and accessories that can help you pull off this look as well :) Some of the links associated with this list may be affiliate links. I'm a Gen X mom to a Gen Alpha tween boy, and finding great gifts for him can be really hard. I don't have a ton of money, so I feel so much pressure to spend it wisely. I sometimes think that he will like something, and my offering is met with an eye roll and some kind of comment about how ‘cringey’ I can be. He is an awesome kid, but it is difficult to get a read on what is actually cool these days. This is a list of stuff I've found that kids these days may really love and appreciate! Stuff that shows that I've been listening and I embrace the world he lives in now. The things on this list may be skewed towards boys, but I really think that there are very few differences between young men's and women's interests these days. They want tech. They love their friends. They like nostalgic aesthetics, but in new forms. They are starting to become adults, finding new interests, exploring the world, and discovering new passions. And they want to be inspired, supported and most of all they want to laugh and have a good time. Please read each list item, as there is a solid reason that these products live here. :) Some of the links associated with this list may be affiliate links. Maybe you need a gift for a woman who loves florals and botanicals, loves gardening and fresh spring color palettes and scents. Well, you might find something awesome for her on this list! I tend to lean towards a rustic and vintage aesthetic, which fits (at the moment) with the trends right now. Everything on this list is totally for a gal just like me! A few of these items I designed, a few more I own, and the others are well-researched and on my wish-list! These are great ideas for mom on Mother's Day! or if you want to impress some other lady in your life :) Some of the links associated with this list may be affiliate links. Random Acts of Kindness! I love this trend, and I wanted to record some of the cool ways to send messages of hope and encouragement to strangers. Only a few years ago, if anyone asked me why I was so messed up, I wouldn't be able to tell them. Now, I have the language and knowledge I need in order to tell you why I'm so messed up. :) Many of these books have opened my eyes to the forces in my life that shape my thoughts and behaviors. Many of these have given me the tools & frameworks with which I am now healing myself and seeing my behaviors and negative thoughts as changeable. The latter books on the list have helped me enter a world of spirituality, calmness and peace. Your life experiences and particular flavor of trauma may differ from mine, but these are books that I would recommend to anyone looking to heal from trauma and discover your true self so as to move onwards and upwards in a healthy way. For yourself or for someone you love, find a fitting book and dive in for a painful and enlightening ride! AND If you are an avid reader, might I suggest joining your local library so you don't have to spend your money on them up front. I like downloading audiobooks for free from the library, and eventually buying the few that really stand out. I've linked these books back to Bookshop.org if you are interested in buying a copy. This is an online storefront where a portion of the sale (30% of the cover price) is directed to the participating brick & mortar bookshop chosen by the buyer, or split among all participating stores if no specific store is chosen. They sell physical copies of books, as well as ebooks. I love this website, because I am supporting a local bookshop without leaving my sofa :) There may be affiliate links in this post. Deep purple is an unexpected choice for an accent color in your home. I find that this is a most uncommon choice, but people feel really ‘wowed’ by it when they see it done well. I would pair this color with warm grays of any intensity as a base and little shots of white or fresh yellow for bold contrasting pops. Cool metals like brushed nickel would really compliment this palette, while warm metals like copper and brushed gold would play up the rustic and passionate side instead. I think deep purple adds a luxurious aesthetic to a bedroom or living room, and might get the juices flowing, if you know what I mean. It is sultry, moody and bold. mmmmm Here are some home decor accents in this color I love so much… pillows, light fixtures, furniture, area rugs and lots more! This is a list of little habit changes that you can easily build into your daily routine to help you with weight loss. Several of these are my ideas and some are ones that I've picked up from other people along the way. Things that can become second nature to help you feel better about yourself and feel more comfortable in your body. Small steps add up to big results in the end. Some of these tips I've included a recommendation of a product you can buy to help you on this journey. These make awesome gift ideas for anyone else looking to lose weight! This is a curated collection of some of the most beautiful and artistic phone cases I've discovered. Redbubble is a great site for unique finds, because all the art you see is uploaded by actual artists. Real people expressing their emotions, messages and personality through art, and putting themselves out there to be discovered. Purchasing anything from Redbubble is a fun way to find something truly unique and to put some cash into an artist's pocket. For phone cases, you can choose art you like and transfer to the phone case you need. They have cases for Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models. The cool thing about Redbubble is that if you find art you love, you can get it printed on any number of different products… like shirts, laptop cases, mugs, notebooks, backpacks etc. I may earn a small commission if you purchase something by following my link, at no extra cost to you.

Gifts for your friends and loved ones who are out, proud and gay, but don't really want everyone else in the world to be hit in the face with their rainbow. Little trinkets to add a touch of fabulous personality to their daily life. I'm a straight ally, but I find myself often looking for gifts for my gay and lesbian friends for birthdays and other occasions. This is a small list of thoughtful things they have really liked…. and stuff I will probably buy in the near future! This is for straight-passing lesbians. A little list of things you can wear or ‘present’ to signal your sexuality so that other lesbians will notice you. So many wlw gals don't look like stereotypical lesbians. They aren't wearing loose cargo shorts and sporting a purple pixie cut. They don't have full arm and neck tats, and they aren't holding up power tools while driving around in giant pick-up truck or a U-Haul. They fly under the radar. They don't want to be loud and proud about their sexuality, because honestly, it's no one else's business. EXCEPT when they want to find more Sapphic ladies to hang with or to date. They want to signal their sexuality to the right gals. Not to everyone. So here is a little list of subtle lesbian gifts you can give a gal who wants to quietly connect with other lesbians in the wild. The femmes who are wondering… why doesn't anyone ask me out? Well, invite them to ask!! And grab some of these subtle lesbian ‘signaling’ gifts (for yourself) that I found. This list is loaded with stereotypes, and I'm def not sorry about that. :) *Lesbian Flagging* Some of the links associated with this list may be affiliate links. This is a list of fun stuff for Lesbians. Awesome clothes and accessories to wear for Pride month or just out line dancing on Thursdays. All of these items can be found on Redbubble. The design is the star here, and you can get it printed on so many different things, including shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, hoodies, notebooks, phone cases, stickers, totes, zipper pouches, desk mats, mouse pads and … seriously… so many cool products you can give as gifts to your Sapphic friends or grab something for your big bad lesbian self! Pick up a load of stickers and hand them out at the next Pride gathering. So many ideas for funny Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers, or meaningful birthday presents. Lighthearted and joyful things for Lesbians. You're Welcome!

This is my list of cool wall art that I've come across over time. I'll keep adding when I find more gems! Some are spicy and hot, and some are quirky and funny. Depending on the room you'd like to decorate… a dorm room or a bedroom, go nuts and put up some racy stuff! For a common space, there are some more subtle suggestions for all your Sapphic expressions. Some of these artists are quite prolific, so you can find more of their work if you follow the link. You could buy multiples to make art arrangement like at a bar, coffee shop or any other public queer space that needs more lesbian love. All these suggestions are prints or posters, and nothing here is expensive. Spend your money on your girlfriend :) Some of the links associated with this list may be affiliate links. We really want the smut, but need to feel invested in the characters and the story to really get the juices flowing! These books hit the mark, in different ways, providing a nice balance between the ‘feels’ and eye-popping sex scenes. Many lesbian erotica novels seem to be written for the straight man, and seem to be focused on boobs and butts and getting down to business. We gals want the business, it just often takes us many more paragraphs to get there. I feel like the books in this list are written for the female audience to enjoy. Also, I suggest NOT reading any of these in public. Happy reading! and Happy Endings! Some of the links associated with this list may be affiliate links. Bumper stickers that make the drivers around you pause and have a laugh! Nothing too political, rude or mean-spirited though… I'm focused on the humor and sarcasm. There is too much anxiety and negativity in the world, so find a cool sticker to get to increase the level of joy around you! Many of these bumper stickers are pretty relatable; I have the diamond shaped one on my van. I can't tell you how many times another driver has pulled up alongside me and smiled with a thumbs up, pointing at the sticker. I love it! Even if you don't share these values, you can easily find gifts that support your Vegan and Vegetarian friends' lifestyle choices! They are huge animal rights activists, and speak out against animal cruelty. Or they just identify as animal lovers, these friends or family members eat a plant based diet. Browse my gift ideas (that won't break the bank!) and get the creative juices flowing! If you find something here perfect for your loved one, you're welcome :) Some fun gift ideas great for birthdays, Christmas or just because, they will feel all warm and squishy when you give them a gift that says ‘I understand you.’ Some of the links below are affiliate links. Gifts for Mom for Mother's Day and Christmas and her birthday too! This day is all about her! I'm a mother, and I feel most loved when I receive a gift that shows that they KNOW me. (NOT crappy stuff with ‘Happy Mother’s Day' written on it.) Think about mom… her personality, her struggles, her hobbies and passions. And get a gift for her that reflects how much you understand her and care about her as a person. Please don't get mom a vacuum or a blender. Save that gift for another time. :) I've listed some ideas here that would make MY heart swell. These gifts are all great for any occasion actually… Christmas and her birthday included!
