Melao Bakery
Brazilian-style loaded rosti potatoes big enough to split. Around $15 and you will not need dinner. The catupiry cheese ones are dangerous.
Mrs. Potato Restaurant
Peruvian rotisserie chicken on Vine Street. A quarter chicken with two sides runs under $10 and the green sauce should be sold by the bottle.
La Granja Kissimmee
Cuban sandwiches pressed right and cafecito that hits. Most plates land well under $15, which makes this my cheap Cuban fix on the Curry Ford side of town.

Two or three stuffed baos make a meal for under $12. The Notorious P.I.G. is the one I tell everyone to start with on Mills Ave.

Southern comfort food in the Milk District. The biscuits and the 7th Trimester will wreck your diet for around $12, and it is worth every bite.

Fresh-made tortillas and $4-ish tacos on Mills. Two carne asada tacos and a horchata is my usual cheap lunch move here.
Black Rooster Taqueria
Chicago dogs done properly since 1987. A dog, fries, and a drink for under $10 on East Colonial. Cash-friendly, no-frills, always hits.
Hot Dog Heaven
Real-deal Mexican on 192 in Kissimmee. Massive combo plates and fresh chips for way less than the tourist strip. Locals pack it on weekends.
El Tenampa Mexican Restaurant
The downtown late-night legend. Double D tacos at 2am for a few bucks each. Nothing on the menu will hurt your wallet.
Gringos Locos
Asian-Latin fusion tacos and empanadas in Mills 50 - creative, filling, and easy on the wallet. The panko-crusted cod taco with a side of curry ketchup fries is my usual order.
Tako Cheena
Cuban classics done the old-school way - the Cuban sandwich combo with croquetas is one of Orlando's all-time great cheap lunches. Wash it down with a cafecito.
