Hands down one of the coolest exhibits I’ve been to. Great for all ages!

Had a lot of fun here. Great for children.
Museum of Illusions
Love the morbidity of this museum. Interesting but eerie.
Mütter Museum
Pretty & unique. Try to go when it’s not likely to be crowded.
Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens
Admission is FREE with a suggested donation. I haven’t been yet but it looks cool and quirky & is definitely on my list.
The Fabric Workshop and Museum | Contemporary Art Philadelphia
Such a cool tour through a haunted prison. The haunted house is great, too!
America's First Penitentiary | Eastern State
A little outside of Philadelphia but worth the trip. Make a day of it and also go to the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle. Then go into town for lunch or dinner.
Vampa
Such a cool collection of stuff displayed in a really cool way.
Mercer Museum
This is such a beautiful location. Outside of Philly but def worth a visit. Part of the Mercer Museum.
Fonthill Castle
Parks
Such a cool spot to grab a drink and lay in a hammock over the river. Kid friendly. Yard games provided!
Spruce Street Harbor Park
A park in the sky, enough said. Free entry!
Cira Green
Walk along the river on this beautiful new boardwalk with points of interest along the way. Connects to the Schuylkill River Trail.
Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk
I know this is niche, but this part is well known, and it’s so fun watching the skaters. Attached to FDR Park, under the I95 overpass.
FDR Skateparks Co.

A free activity for all the music lovers. Listen to great musicians during their weekly recitals.
Curtis Recital Series
This is not off the beaten path at all, but it is hands-down one of the best places to grab a quick bite in the city. Such a fun experience, even if you’re just browsing.
