I took a day just for myself, turned on music, and drove to North Carolina to see Kari for a session. From the moment I walked in, I was surrounded by an immediate sense of protection, warmth, and love. Within the first thirty minutes, I realized something profound: I didn’t have to hold back my words to protect myself here. I was able to let go of so much I had been carrying and show the messy, uncomfortable, “ugly” parts of myself without fear or hesitation.
