We recently moved back to Ohio, and leaving Rayito was one of the hardest goodbyes. The teachers are wonderful + so engaged. In less than a year, our son had started bringing Spanish home, using it naturally in conversation. They were so flexible with pickup/drop offs (huge plus) and made navigating starting a school program during the uncertainties of Covid so much easier than we ever could have hoped. Their app provided constant updates of what our son was doing throughout the day, which helped make the transition easy and worry free. Gracias Rayito de Sol y a todas las maestras que hicieron que Lucas se sintiera tan especial.

We were eagerly awaiting Rayito's opening from the moment it was announced. Learning languages has been a high priority with our family. From the moment we stepped inside we knew the wait was worth it. The colors and murals and technology was a sight to see. No other preschool came close to what we saw at Rayito. It was obvious that the place was run by a family. Camila welcomed us into that family and I never once questioned that our son was getting the best care. There is something extremely special about the Latin culture that assures me that my child is well cared for. The teachers and assistants are in constant touch with the families through pictures and emails. I was exhausted from just watching the amount my son did each and every day. Every activity had something behind it and a purpose. Whether it was science or math or culture, these kids are learning without ever knowing it. My son took extreme pride in each of his projects. Rayito is a special place. It's filled with love and fun and learning. I am proud to have had my son be one of the first students at the Chicago location.

Beautiful new space, amazing concept and great staff. I love that they learn Spanish, art, music, math. So many activities, plus they send out updates and pics of your kids so you don't feel like you are missing out. The staff is very caring and they seem very happy for the kids accomplishments.

Rayito de Sol is exactly like the name "Ray of Sunlight". They will impress you with their brilliant approach to early childhood education. Your children will not only learn Spanish, but will be introduced to the culture, history, food, traditions, and songs of Latin American culture. This is a true gem of a school/daycare. They are VERY organized and are run in a corporate manner, but with the warmth of family. The teachers are so experienced, well trained and enthusiastic about the children. Their lobby is very colorful and welcoming. I would recommend taking a look at what they have accomplished in Minnesota as it is quite impressive. Also, the types of projects the children work on are school level projects (age appropriate of course). My family is so impressed with how the children are challenged each day with a variety of well thought-out, and educational activities. The playground is very safe and out of public view which I really appreciate. My child has definitely benefited from being there and we can't thank Rayito De Sol enough! Their CEO, Luisa and Assistant Director, Camila are amazing!

My daughter is 6 months old and has been at Rayito since she was 4 months old, and we LOVE it. I feel safe and happy dropping her off each day, and she does so many cool things at daycare that my mom friends are constantly astounded at. It's amazing how much this daycare provides, even for her young age! She does art projects and circle time, is learning sign language, has free play, and they even had a science day that she LOVED. I didn't know 4 month olds could enjoy science, but now I know better :) (As an example for science, they put drops of food coloring in a water bottle and watched it diffuse. I think they put glitter and beads in it too, so they could watch how different things fall through water.) The hours are much better than any other daycare we looked at, and the teachers have been really supportive with her specific needs. They use an app to keep us up-to-date with pictures and when she sleeps / eats / has diaper changes. Her teacher, Patricia, is energetic, happy and kind. We love having her as baby's teacher. My mom told me that the number one most important thing in a daycare for such a young baby is less about the curriculum and more that she feels very loved every day. With Rayito, she gets both. I am confident she is loved and I *also* am confident that she is getting great experiences that will open her mind to lots of new things. I'm glad we went with Rayito and look forward to continuing with them as she gets older.
