As fall is approaching Brown County is full of beautiful colors. The scenery is beautiful.
Brown County Indiana
A good place to go Hiking. Some trails are dog friendly too. After a long hike relax on the beach. Perfect for families.
Indiana Dunes State Park
One of my favorite beaches surrounded by fun towns and lighthouses. Climb the big dune hills if you're brave enough 😉
Silver Beach County Park
This state park is the perfect place to get lost outdoors.. enjoy the scenery, visit lovers leap, give yourself an entire full day so you do not miss a thing.
Starved Rock State Park
Fun for all ages. Enjoy your day learning about historic traditions and the farming life in the 19th and 20th century.
Buckley Homestead County Park
I recommend either camping or finding a hotel. Stay the weekend. Map out your hike each trail is numbered and will tell you the difficulty before you enter. Home for days while enjoying nature and beautiful scenery.
Turkey Run State Park
This free zoo in Chicago is full of animals you don’t want to miss. Hang around and watch the zoo keepers during feeding time. During the holiday season enjoy the Christmas light display.
