Our home is mostly screen free and the tonie box has been our best investment. He got it for Christmas when he was 2.5. Every holiday he normally gets a new tonie (Easter basket, boo basket, stocking stuffer, birthday). I LOVE how these can grow with his changes. Our daughter is almost 11 months and she’s already learned how to use it herself. She picks her own tonie out & puts it on. I can’t wait for her to get her own and girly tonies 🥹 so worth the investment 🫶🏼

If, like me, you love to give a Christmas gift hamper but get bored with the same old food selections, then making your own gift hamper can be a fun alternative. It works well with all ages and is especially great if you want to gift to a family group or a set of child siblings, as it can often be easier to find several smaller gift items than one large one. You can also tailor boxes to suit interests such as sports, movies or themes such as countries or cooking…the only limit on what you can do with gift hampers is your own imagination!

My son started struggling with eczema right at 4 months. I was on a mission to help him through it by change our lifestyle and eating habits. With lots of patience, trial and error of many different products and focusing on our health in the kitchen I discovered the best things that worked for us.
The lotions were HUGE in keeping things calm so I used tubs of nearly all the lotions recommended. Switching to more sensitive focused products was key since we cosleep. Changing his clothes to more 100% cotton was essential. All these changes allowed me to rule out anything on the outside that could be irritating him while I focused on his health on the inside through quality nutrition.
All these things combined was the key to keeping him comfortable, flare-ups at bay. I hope these help you too! I completely understand the stress of the eczema journey.
It can be super overwhelming when you start adding items to your baby shower registry list – there are SO many products, brands, and gear out there! And they make you feel like you need to get EVERY LITTLE THING. But take it from me – LESS IS BEST. I say this for 2 reasons: number one, your baby's development can be impaired by having too many “container” devices (like swings, seats, jumpers, etc.) by blocking their natural movement; number two, having too many things can be overwhelming! I suggest that you start with LESS and ask for gift cards on your registry – that way, once baby has actually arrived and you feel like you truly need something else, you can buy it then!
Sensory toys play a crucial role in the development and engagement of children. They provide opportunities for exploration, learning and stimulation of the sense.
