Young adult books are powerful at any age. No matter how old you are, I suggest picking these up. Also, if you're a teacher, add these to your classroom libraries!
Start your little ones on the path to financial literacy with these recommended children’s picture books. If your child can do some basic counting, they’re ready to start understanding the basics of money and finance. As they grow, you can introduce more complex ideas. With my toddler, I focus on five basic elements of money using picture books to support each concept: 1. The value of Money 2. Money is earned. 3. The power of saving. 4. The power of investing. 5. The importance of sharing. Perfect for introducing financial concepts in a fun and relatable way!

Making this list makes me miss my love for reading and Danielle Steel is my absolute favorite author! Her books drew me in because they are often set in historical times and I am a history nerd. She has never disappointed!!
Book recs I have bought or rented on Kindle Unlimited . These are spicy 18+ only, if that ain't your thing steer clear :) Also, I frequently note if I read the book rather quickly, which if a book doesn't keep my attention, I don't finish the book. So if I note how quickly I finished the story, it had me in a chokehold. I don't usually share what books I like (prob fear of being judged) but I'm sure there are other dark romance lovers who will appreciate this list.
A perfect bookshelf may not exist but that doesn't stop me from trying! I've been building my collection of books for many years and these beautiful books will make your aesthetic bookshelf dreams come true

Want to give a child a head start in life? Put reading materials in the home. It doesn't even matter what reading materials. The number one predictor of a child's success is whether or not there was reading in their home. My undergrad degree is in early childhood/K-3 education. Here are some of my favorite children's books.

Have you ever read some books many times? There are some classics of heroic fantasy in there along with books I've read and re-read over the years. Good books are like music, I love coming back to the ones I love. Do you re-read favorite books? I do, all the time. I must have read the Pratchett series 5 times… all of them!
Follow along with my reading journey through 2025. I am mainly a fiction (sci-fi and fantasy) reader, but have been known to branch out into historical fiction, nonfiction, and biographies. This list includes everything I have read throughout the year!
Some of my favorite picture books to read with my students about showing kindness and practicing empathy - something we all need reminders and help with sometimes!
Reading to a child is so important. It builds warm, lasting memories. It builds language and literacy skills. And, it's fun and enjoyable! Whether it's a bedtime story, a story before naptime, or a "just because" story...you (and your little one) will love these titles. I included the board books options when possible because I have found that to be helpful when reading with toddlers. They are sturdy and can withstand grabby fingers and toddler roughness!

I have read all six of Jane Austen's novels, and watched almost every edition of every film made for them. I'm also no stranger to most of the Austen-esque offshoots, be that book or film. In short, I haven't been able to get enough of her world since I first read Pride and Prejudice. Please enjoy these carefully selected finds for bringing a little Regency romance into your holiday season.
My favorite books over the years that I would highly highly recommend for anyone who is in a reading slump. I def go through reading phases but these are page turners that genuinely made me want to read more

These are the books that changed who I am, the way I think, and how I approach life. I highly recommend them to anyone who's feeling lost and needs a way to find guidance from within.
I have been collecting Christmas books for the past three years and I have gotten enough for both boys to be able to open one book per day in the whole month of December so we enjoy having a new Christmas book each day to be able to read and then of course as the days go on we have more books to read for our Christmas pile. It’s really special and even though they are not new books every year since I put them away after Christmas time, they are special to them as they don’t see them for a couple months in between Time.
If you enjoy books that expand your mindset, deepen self-awareness, and offer real, applicable insight, you’ll love this list. I read across multiple genres outside of fiction, and these are the books that have genuinely stood out to me.
This collection celebrates American values, symbols, and history, offering kids a window into the spirit of the United States. Each book is thoughtfully selected to inspire pride, teach the importance of citizenship, and honor our country’s beauty and legacy. From the American flag to the Statue of Liberty, these stories are perfect for family reading time and sparking conversations about what makes America unique. Great for Election Day and beyond! 🇺🇸📚
With blizzards and cold temperatures galore, there's no better time to curl up inside with a good book for the day. And if you're in need of something to warm you, a romance novel will likely do just the trick

I read 100+ books in 2025 (yes I read A LOT) some of these books are novellas and some are average book length so there’s a little sprinkle of it all in here. I will mark if a book is dark romance or not, too!
Give me a good book and I’m a happy girl! I love suspense, thrillers, mysteries, and as it turns out recently I’m maybe even a little into dragons and fairies. Who knew! I set a goal to read at least 1 book per month a few years ago and that reignited my passion for reading. I’m up to about 4 books per month now, and I love sharing my favorites and hearing what everyone else is reading so that I can find my next great read!
This is my current reading list which I will update with reviews as I go. Hopefully you'll discover a few good reads along the way. I like historical mysteries, sci-fi, thrillers but also historical fiction.

I love reading in the summer! Whether I’m by the pool or at the beach, it’s my favorite way to relax. My ideal summer book is easygoing and features themes like vacation fun, summer romance, and exciting adventures. I also participate in summer reading challenges, aiming to read twelve books. I’d love for you to join me! Here’s my curated list of summer reading favorites for you to explore.
My favorites (when I actually sit and read LOL- takes a lot to get my attention!). I always recommend getting the physical copies of books- electronics hurt my eyes and head and there is way too much distraction on my phone or computer
Some of my favorite book recommendations. Ranging from thriller to romance and some things in between. Some smutty book recommendations (if you know me in real life…no you dont)
Gozo might be small but it is mighty when it comes to culture. This beautiful island has featured in multiple TV shows, films and books, and these are some of our absolute favourites.
I like to keep table books out all the time, in the bedrooms, too. Gives guests something to look at while you aren't in the room and gives you ideas on your favorite subjects. It's also a good conversation starter!
These are great books that spark thoughtful conversations for a book club. Our book club always has a variety of books - some I wouldn't necessarily choose for myself. Even if I didn't love it, I'm glad for the discussions I get to have with some pretty smart women. If you love reading and you're not in a book club - find one or start one.
Spiritual books that changed me forever. Only read if you are ready for a shif in thinking, deep transformation, and you want to claim your power and make a positive change.
my fav book reccomendations if you get stuck on what to read or looking for something different to read!
also some book accessories i have been loving!!
Escape the real world and dive into these good reads. Romance, thrillers, Mom guilts, twist and turns aplenty. All of my favorite reads whether paperback or audible!
Here are a lot of the books I started out with when I started becoming more interested in astrology and tarot specifically but mysticism more generally. A pretty wide array of topics are covered here, so peruse and pick out what you like!
Tired of the same Western love stories?
This list is your next stop.
Last year, I was in that exact place, looking for something different, something that would actually make me feel again.
And then I found these Nigerian romance books.
These stories made me want to be loved again, and honestly, I haven’t even been loved the right way yet 😭. I know it sounds crazy, but reading them shifted something in me. There’s just something about the way love is written here—deep, spiritual, messy, real.
I won’t rest until I share them with the world.
Not every book is created equal. I mean technically, every book helps to support language and brain development at the very least. However, some are fun and silly like Dragons Love Tacos and other's help to bring up important topics like the Color Monster.Books are an amazing way to support other areas of development as well! They help to open up discussions and prompt your little one to ask questions. Here's a list of kids books and that area of development they support.
stuck in a reading slump? me too it happens every 3 months.. but here my FAVORITE holy grail reads that you’ll definitely LOVE especially if you’re a romance reader ! thank me later 😉
